We Saved You a Seat: Finding and Keeping Lasting Friendships

We Saved You a Seat by Lisa-Jo Baker is a heartfelt invitation to experience the kind of genuine friendships every woman craves—but often struggles to find. In a world where connection can feel shallow and relationships sometimes fall apart, this study offers a roadmap to building bonds that are real, resilient, and rooted in God’s love.

Across seven engaging sessions, Lisa-Jo unpacks why friendships can be so challenging, exploring the fears of rejection, the comparison trap, and the myths we believe about community. Through biblical teaching, honest stories, and practical steps, participants will learn how to invite others in, be vulnerable, and develop relationships that reflect Christ’s call to love one another deeply.

Designed with women’s small groups and individual study in mind, We Saved You a Seat includes video sessions, guided questions, and real-life challenges that inspire lasting change. Whether you’ve struggled to make friends or want to deepen the ones you have, this study offers encouragement and tools to help you find your place at the table—and extend a seat to someone else. Dive in and discover the joy and purpose of friendships anchored in grace and authenticity.
