Virtuosity: Doing the Common Uncommonly Well

Virtuosity: Doing the Common Uncommonly Well by Brian Mills and Donavan DeGrie is a powerful challenge for young men to rise above mediocrity and live with intentionality, integrity, and excellence. In a culture where “just getting by” is the norm, this six-session study equips teen guys to live with purpose by doing the common things uncommonly well—both in character and in everyday life.

Each session of Virtuosity explores a foundational virtue—such as responsibility, purity, discipline, and humility—using Scripture, personal reflection, and discussion-based questions to drive the point home. With relatable teaching, real-world application, and video content available through LifeWay, this study calls young men to be set apart, not by flashy performance, but by the quiet strength of consistent godly living.

Designed specifically for teen guys navigating school, sports, friendships, and faith, Virtuosity is ideal for youth groups, discipleship programs, or one-on-one mentoring. Whether you're a student pastor, small group leader, or parent looking to disciple your son, this resource offers an engaging, biblically grounded path toward spiritual maturity. Encourage the next generation of men to pursue virtue—and to do so with excellence that honors Christ.
